Kennedy Obtains Engineering Licensure

Wise, Virginia – Thompson & Litton Design Engineer Courtney Kennedy, PE has recently attained Professional Licensure as an Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Courtney joined T&L in 2002 and has since that time been a major contributor to the engineering design of various architectural, engineering, and transportation projects with a specialization in structural engineering.

Courtney is a native of the Richlands area of Tazewell County and is the daughter of John and Julia Jennings of Richlands. In addition to being a 1997 graduate of Richlands High School, she is also a 2001 graduate of Virginia Tech where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. She and her husband Jonathan reside in Wise County.

Courtney is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a 2005 Graduate of the Forward Wise County Program by the Wise County Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, Kennedy enjoys playing golf, photography, and traveling.
