West Virginia COVID-19 Business Impact Surveys

West Virginia COVID-19 Business Impact Surveys

Yesterday, our friends from the WV Association of Regional Councils released two online surveys to evaluate the impact COVID-19 has had on West Virginia and the West Virginia Economy. They have asked that we share these surveys to help rally a state-wide response from West Virginia businesses and organizations both experiencing or not experiencing an impact from COVID-19.

For our West Virginia clients and partners, these surveys can be accessed by visiting https://west-virginia-covid-19-business-impact-region1.hub.…

Once there, businesses and organizations will find two surveys. First, the Business Locator and Operations Survey will allow respondents to list their amended hours of operation as well as the services they continue to provide during the pandemic. The second survey, the Business Impact Survey, asks respondents a series of 17 questions that directly relate to the impacts they are, or aren’t, experiencing as a result of COVID-19. This information will be vital in helping shape the way the State of WV responds to business needs both now and during the recovery stage. The data collected will also be shared with our U.S. Representatives in an effort to help shape future resources and additional stimulus support.

If anyone has any questions regarding the surveys and the efforts of this program, they can contact either Shane Whitehair, President, WV Association of Regional Councils (swhitehair@regionvii.com) or Steve Roberts, President, WV Chamber of Commerce (jasonroberts@wvchamber.com).

You are also welcome to reach out to Jason Roberts, Executive Director of Region 1 Planning & Development Council (jasonroberts@regiononepdc.org) with technical questions.
