Andrew Monk

Andrew Monk, PE, serves as Vice President of Engineering and provides executive leadership to Thompson & Litton’s Civil Engineering division. Since joining T&L in 2008, he has progressed through increasingly responsible technical and leadership roles, developing extensive expertise in site development, stormwater management, and solid waste management. In his current role, Andrew guides the strategic direction and operational performance of the division, provides oversight for all civil engineering projects, promotes seamless collaboration across lines of service, and upholds the highest standards of project delivery.

Andrew is committed to building accountable teams, maintaining high standards of technical quality, and identifying the root causes of issues that affect project delivery and client service. He works closely with T&L’s engineering leaders, project managers, and clients to align resources, strengthen collaboration, and deliver practical solutions that meet each project’s objectives. Andrew is a licensed Professional Engineer and a graduate of Virginia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Environmental and Water Resource Engineering.
