Position Overview

The Director of Human Resources will play a pivotal role in overseeing all human resource functions within our organization. This individual will ensure the effective management of human resources to support organizational goals. The key responsibilities include talent acquisition, employee development, company culture, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract and retain top talent. Utilize innovative sourcing techniques and maintain a strong employer brand to ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Employee Development: Design and oversee comprehensive employee development programs that foster growth, enhance skills, and promote career advancement. Implement performance management systems that align with organizational objectives.
  • Company Culture: Cultivate a positive and inclusive company culture that reflects our values and mission. Lead initiatives that promote employee engagement, teamwork, and a sense of belonging.
  • Compliance and Employment Laws and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. Develop and maintain human resource policies and procedures that adhere to legal requirements and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in human resources management, preferably within professional service companies such as engineering or architectural firms.
  • Proven expertise in talent acquisition, employee development, company culture, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) and their cultural implementation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.
