Project Manager

Summary

Project Manager is a key position that is instrumental in developing and managing architectural and engineering projects for a multi-office A/E firm in a multi-county area. Candidate will have a minimum of 8-15 years related experience and a BS or BA degree; professional license preferred but not required. Firm’s work is primarily but not exclusively public sector for local municipalities/schools, higher education, and state government.

Project Manager will work directly with the Vice President of Project Management/ Marketing to develop individual annual marketing and sales goal plan for territory; Management of clients is a priority with emphasis on budget, schedule, and client relations. Knowledge of design and construction process and dealing with a wide array of local, state, and federal government funding agencies/projects is most important as well as communication/coordination with design/production personnel.  Strong people, financial, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities include the planning, coordination and controlling of a project from inception to completion, meeting the client’s requirements and ensuring completion on time, within cost and to required quality standards. Day-to-day coordination of project activities, client contact, and project performance is critical.
