T&L attended a one-day workshop on Asset Management for Water Utilities, on October 1st in Wytheville, Virginia. The class, hosted by VDH, VRWA, and SERCAP covered the basics of Asset Management and was designed to equip utilities to work with their staff and/or consultant as they develop an Asset Management Plan. T&L is happy to welcome John Walker to our Princeton office as a Design Engineer. John is a 2017 Civil Engineering Technology graduate from Bluefield State College. He and his wife, Leanne, recently bought and remodeled a house in his hometown of Tazewell. In his free time, John enjoys helping his father and uncle do small contractor work like home renovations and general handyman work. T&L Attends the Governor’s Summit on Rural Prosperity

T&L attended the Governor’s Summit on Rural Prosperity, hosted by the Virginia Rural Center at the Inn at Virginia Tech on September 23-24. This event brings together local, state and private sector representatives from across Virginia to discuss innovative initiatives occurring in rural communities such as broadband, community revitalization, and agriculture. Governor Ralph Northam was the keynote speaker and emphasized the importance of lifting up Rural Virginia.
